SILENT SENTINEL

Else where I always read her Blogs ,each one was so straightforwardly put , meaningful , thoughtful and fascinating . I was neither among her friends nor did I request her for same ..... I remained aloof, never commented on any though normally I dont remain silent to something expressed so beautyfully .One day................
I saw a line on top of her Blog,,,,,,,,,,,,,it spelt ...................
" where do broken hearts go......................."............reply..............
I was instantly prompted to answer her.
"Broken Hearts have no where to go to my 'friend'... they are softer than the softest of Rose petals and harder than the hardest Stone ..depends however on what side of them you happen to look at." and I continued telling Suzanne.....................................
I saw a beautyfully cut stone pillar lodged on a rockbed, talk to himself as there was not a soul around...; whisper so soft as whispering rose petals , no one to hear ....but sound as eloquent as can be about the harder feelings inside.

Silent sentinel I stand alone
none to talk none to hear
all alone all I bear
Dark and bright I stay alone
warm and storm I bear alone
burning under The Sun
shivering in cold
all they say is am just a Stone.

I had my life you know
before I was here thrown
I lived with my loved ones
in the Thick of stones
that was my Family
I was not alone.

None in sight I cry allnight
Am handsome they say
in morn they view
nothing they utter so to feel
my tears they see like its morning dew
lovers of beauty praise they sound
Hipocrites all nay no count.

She was alone I Am alone
they called her Rani
they call me STONE.

My friend Suzanne said......." friendly............loving words.........."
and we are good friends since then. She lives in UK and I live in India...repeated.
